Our programme provides a broad coverage of the three main discipline areas of pure mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics.
By following the Applied Mathematics pathway, your third year of study will focus on a variety of modules that reflect your interest in this area, such as mathematical biology, waves and fluid mechanics. With the methods of calculus and differential equations at the core, Applied Mathematics goes beyond further mechanics and allows us to describe and predict a rich variety of real-world behaviour. |
