Our Clinical Dental Technology degree is a unique and innovative clinical dental technology course, which will allow you to train as you will practice in the future, as part of the whole dental team. The course gives you the opportunity to train as a clinical dental technician who can work within dental technology and primary care dentistry. Primary care dentistry is delivered by the whole dental team, of which clinical dental technicians are an increasingly important part. The structure of the course is exciting and innovative in that our BSc Clinical Dental Technology, BSc Dental Therapy and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses share common modules. Both Clinical Dental Technician students and BDS students will learn clinical, technical and professional skills together during the course. The University is already renowned for the depth of clinical experience that our current dentistry students gain during their training, which has resulted in a 100% graduate employment rate.
