It is available as a generalist programme which gives you the freedom to pick from a range of modules in your second semester or with specific named pathways that allow you to specialise in a specific area of business that will feature on your degree certificate.

The programme has been designed with a clear focus on management in an interconnected global community. It covers core management concepts such as managing financial resources, operations management, human resource management and marketing management to give you a solid grounding in a range of dynamic business principles and enhance your employability. Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence, the course is open to students from any discipline who would like to work in business or management. We know it’s a competitive world out there. To help you get the best from your studies and get ahead of the competition, the programme also includes an academic skills module that covers issues such as research methods.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  • To be eligible, you must attain a 2:2 in an undergraduate degree.
  • Students from Nigeria must attain a Bachelor Degree with Second Class Lower Division classification; or CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0; or CGPA 2.4 out of 5.0; or CGPA 3.0 out of 7.0.
  • Students from India must attain a Bachelor Degree with 55% overall; or CGPA 6.1 out of 10; or 4.5 out of 7.0; or 2.67 out of 4.0.
  • Students from other nations are advised to check International equivalence to a UK 2.2.
  • Non-native English speakers must achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5. A list of equivalent tests is provided here. If you have studied an undergraduate degree taught through the medium of English, you may be exempt from this requirement.
  • For students who fall short of only the English language requirement, we offer a range of Pre-Master's training programmes that you may take before starting your Master's qualification.
