Description:

This course is aimed at registered midwives who wish to develop the skills required to competently perform the examination of a newborn baby. It will assist you in developing the clinical skills required to practice competently in this area.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    For Canadian residents: A Bachelor degree (Honours) / Baccalaureat de type Honours is required. A minimum of 2.3 on a 4 Point GPA or a 5.2 on a 9 Point GPA is required for most masters courses. A small number of our masters courses require 3.2 on a 4 point GPA or 7.2 on a 9 point GPA.
    Additional Admission Requirements:
    • Work Experience
    Be a registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Have at least 12 months post-registration employment.
