Description:

The Desautels Faculty of Music is located in one of Canada’s most culturally vibrant cities, and offers students an abundance of opportunities for study and performance. Here you can obtain an education that will prepare you for a wide range of music and music-related careers. Over the course of your program, you will work with an exceptional group of educators who bring to their respective areas a high level of expertise and international recognition as performers, researchers, conductors, composers, musicologists, and theorists. Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    High school graduation including 5 full credits at the Grade 12 level.

    Completion of the following:

    1. A minimum average of 70% over three Grade 12 credits

    2. One credit of Grade 12 English with a minimum grade of 60%



    An audition, theory test, and letters of recommendation are required.
    Additional Admission Requirements:
      An audition and a theory assessment are required.
