Finding Awards At Laurentian, Easier Than You Think!
It’s no surprise that post-secondary education is expensive!
It’s no surprise that post-secondary education is expensive, and working a [part-time] minimum-wage job for two or three years before beginning postsecondary simply doesn’t help as much as it used to. Laurentian University recognizes this financial hurdle for secondary school students and continues to invest in scholarships and bursaries. In 2015, Laurentian ranked 4th in Maclean’s university ranking for scholarships and bursaries in the primarily undergraduate category by awarding $9.3 million. To put this number into perspective, that’s an average of more than $950 per student.
Laurentian University offers a number of awards based on your academic standing, extracurricular activities, leadership, athletic abilities, and involvement within your community. Here are a few of our notable awards that allow us to stand out amongst other institutions.
