The time of applying to universities is an exciting one. At the same time, the possibility of rejection is a fear for many applicants. Here are some tips for dealing with a negative response.

  1. 1. Don’t give up. Don’t abandon all hope of your university experience if you don’t get accepted into your first choice school. Be open to other options. A different school could be a better fit for you.
  2. 2. Explore your options. The most unlikely schools may end up being the ones you get accepted to. Don’t ignore any opportunities right away. Remember, the more places you apply to, the higher are your chances of being accepted.
  3. 3. Apply to a Transition Program. A transition program is a great way to find out what you want to do.
