Starting your postsecondary adventure is exciting. What if you had the opportunity to explore the world as part of your education? Cambrian College programs take you beyond classes, labs, and campus life and can offer multiple options to satisfy the travel bug in you.

In addition to navigating the local area by canoe, students in the Physical Fitness Management program have also put their skills to work outside the country. In 2013, students travelled to Cambodia to help assemble and distribute 1,000 bicycles to help children travel to and from school. In 2015, students led nutrition and fitness projects for young children in Peru.

Students in the Dental Hygiene program promote oral health care locally and abroad. In 2012, they went to Vietnam to help children ages 4 through 12 learn healthy habits. In 2015, they were joined by Nursing students on a trip to provide health care services to two communities in Costa Rica. Nursing students have also travelled to India, gaining hands-on skills as members of an interdisciplinary health care team in a remote village.

Cambrian College also has agreements in place with partner schools in China that allow cross-cultural teaching and learning exchanges between students in programs such as Business, Chemical Engineering Technology, and Early Childhood Education.

The travel opportunities don't end at graduation either. With a Cambrian College diploma, you can take advantage of articulation agreements that recognize your credentials and give you a head start in degree programs at universities around the world.

Begin your education at Cambrian College and let your postsecondary experience here take you anywhere you want to go.
