At Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Corner Brook campus, we know that a successful university career is more than grades. It is about gaining valuable life experience; it’s about what you learn outside of the classroom.

Studying abroad at some of our partner universities is a great way to ensure you’re prepared for life, as well as a career.

Our exchange opportunities

Students have the opportunity to visit our campus in Harlow, England, for part of a semester. You’ll take in the theatre productions, see gallery exhibits and visit cultural landmarks like Stonehenge and the London Eye.

The Frecker Program is for people who want a real taste of French culture. You’ll travel to the French territory of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, off the coast of Newfoundland, for an intensive one-semester French immersion program.

Grenfell is also a member of the National Student Exchange (NSE), which allows our students to pay Grenfell tuition fees while spending a semester at an NSE member university in Canada or the United States.

The Belize Exchange Program lets eligible students take courses, visit white sand beaches, Mayan ruins and experience the lively Belizean culture.

There’s a growing number of exchange opportunities around the globe in locations like Jamaica, China, the Netherlands, Iceland, South Korea and Japan. You also have the option to do an exchange in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland or Russia through the North2North program, which is organized by University of the Arctic and an international network of educational institutions.

Grenfell Campus is Memorial University’s western Newfoundland campus and specializes in programs in arts, fine arts, business, environment and resource management, nursing, education and science. Our tuition is the lowest in Canada, our facilities are current and our researchers are award-winning.
