Classes are an essential part of college and university, but higher education also takes place outside the classroom. Taking advantage of opportunities on campus is a great way to meet people, test out a new interest, connect with fellow students, help others, travel and even gain an edge in the workforce once you graduate.

The University of Lethbridge Students’ Union exists to make your experience at uLethbridge as rewarding and enriching as possible. ULSU puts on a variety of events, including concerts, Fresh Fest and awareness weeks, to name a few.

uLethbridge is home to more than 80 clubs, sororities and fraternities that provide arts, social, academic and athletic pursuits, travel, religious fellowship, as well as charitable and cultural support. Some clubs surf in California while others debate in Ottawa. Many have hosted speakers and sponsored conferences while their peers have presented art shows and concerts.

Do you love sports? You don’t have to join a varsity team to enjoy on-campus athletics. Joining and intramural team is a great wat to stay active, engage in a little healthy competition and make new friends. Intramural sports at uLethbridge include basketball, dodgeball, floor hockey, ice hockey, indoor soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball and water polo, while competitive clubs feature dance, ringette, badminton, curling golf and lacrosse teams.

uLethbridge is also home to a vibrant arts and cultural scene. Whether it’s an event at the Art Gallery, a film series, theatre production, musical, opera, concert or a guest speaker, campus is bustling with fine arts activities year round.
