Sometimes even the best laid plans need a Plan B. Whether you applied to your dream school and didn’t get in, or you’ve suddenly changed your mind and think you’re too late in the game to start in September, TRU still has a seat for you.

Thompson Rivers University has over 13,000 students on campus in over 140 programs. Our on-campus undergraduate programs are split into three admissions processes: Open, Limited and Selective. Our Open programs – Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Business Administration, are non-competitive and accept applications up until the start of classes. Whether you want to upgrade, figure out where post-secondary can take you, or even just start university, one of these three programs are always a great first step.

Have something more specific in mind? TRU has a wide variety of Limited programs that might be your best fit. Thinking of a career in Police & Justice? Maybe one in Architectural & Engineering Technology? Or how about that dream position in the Tourism field? We’ve got you covered, plus so much more! Most of our limited programs are still accepting applications, so apply today.

Selective programs, or competitive admission programs, have already-passed deadlines for Fall 2015. Don’t let that discourage you, though. You can always start in one of our Open programs to upgrade and get ready to apply for Fall 2016.

Want to start university but can’t make the move to our Kamloops, BC campus? Check out TRU Open Learning for an amazing variety of distance or online courses and programs that you can complete from anywhere in the world. Lounging on a beach and studying doesn’t sound too bad, does it?
