Always wanted to travel, but haven’t had the opportunity? The University of Northern British Columbia allows you to reach this goal by travelling while you study through our International Exchange Program.

While on your exchange, you will pay your tuition fees to UNBC. You will also be able to take courses at the institution you will be visiting, and may be eligible to receive credit that will work towards your degree! Students are permitted to spend one academic year on a formal exchange, before coming back to UNBC to complete their studies.

These exchange opportunities are for students of all programs, meaning any student can participate in these programs! There are also specific exchanges that focus on the language and culture (such as Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Norwegian. To explore a few exchange opportunities, check out this list:

  • Australia
  • China
  • Denmark
