Algonquin College is home to loads of fun social clubs, ranging from martial arts and dancing to ping pong and investors. Whatever you’re into, there’s probably a club for it! Here’s a quick look at a few clubs we think you’ll love.

Rock climbing club

If you’re an avid climber, the rock climbing club is the place for you. If you’re new to the climbing world, this is also the place for you. Join newbies and savvy scalers as they tackle climbing walls across the city. Develop your technique, show off your skills, and break a sweat with your new friends!

Book club

Calling all bookworms! AC’s book club is for casual readers and those who can’t wait to pick up the trendiest reads. In this club, students vote on their next novel and discuss their thoughts and opinions, topics, and themes across several different titles.

TechProdigies

All about innovation, learning, and discovery, TechProdigies is your new go-to for all things coding, computing, and tech-related. Join the club on their quest to explore and advance their technological skills.

Can’t find a club devoted to your niche interest or greatest passion? Start one! Students are encouraged to take matters into their own hands by pitching their ideas to the Student Association and using the resources provided to them by the Club Toolbox to kick them off. Simply fill out a short form and you’ll be recruiting new members and hosting meetings in no time.
