As a journalism graduate, with years of experience working with the media and writing news stories, I thought I wanted to tell the world what was going on – until I realized I actually wanted to contribute to what was happening in the world instead.

This made enrolling in Humber College’s PR postgraduate program a no-brainer.

Once I started at Humber, I learned exactly how I wanted to apply my skills and what values I wanted to pursue as a communicator.

Before I made my choice to attend, I learned Humber’s PR program stood out among the rest. The professors helped me develop writing skills, build PR strategies and develop new skills using different software and media tools.

The program’s hands-on learning, relevant curriculum and opportunity to work with industry professionals through various projects, events and a formal work placement helped me make a smooth transition from school to work.

Humber PR has helped me to make my career choice philanthropic. I have become a voice for a larger audience and am dedicated to enabling those organizations I work with to have a bigger and better impact on society.

The program is intense but the results are worth it. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose Humber PR.
