If you need help, ask for it. Your teachers, friends, and parents are an excellent resource for support when it comes to your studies. Or better yet, find yourself a tutor that can help. Have you heard of KPU Advantage? It's a unique university-based tutoring service for high school students. All tutors have Masters Degrees in their subject area - some have PhD's!

Make a plan for post-secondary admission. Do you know what you want to study? Have you decided on a post-secondary school? What are the admissions requirements? Consider starting a to-do list and keeping a calendar of important upcoming dates and deadlines to stay organized and ensure you don't miss any opportunities. If you have questions about KPU specifically, reach out to the Future Students' Office to learn more about the programs and how to apply.

Be excited about going to post-secondary, wherever that may be. When it comes to choosing the right school, people tend to get stuck in the mindset that if they don't get into that one school they really had their heart sent on, they won't be happy. That's simply not true. Post-secondary is about so much more than just getting an education - it's about learning new things and discovering your passions. Consider joining one of the many student-run clubs KPU has to offer. Post-secondary is a place to learn, explore, meet new people, and have fun!
