Field Schools
Field schools are a perfect opportunity for you to get a taste of what it’s like to study and travel at the same time. These excursions are usually short (only a few weeks long) and focus on a specific topic or theme. You’ll travel with other KPU students and instructors and get hands-on experience and education that you wouldn’t usually get in a traditional classroom. Three field schools are offered this coming year: Paris & Documenta, Amazon, and Barcelona.

Exchanges
Looking to take on the world? An exchange might be right for you! Unlike field schools, during an exchange you get to go to one of our partner institutions for a full semester on your own. Challenge yourself, learn a new language, and experience a new culture as you see what the world has to offer. You get full transfer credit for the courses you take and pay the same KPU tuition and fees. Not to mention all of the friends you will meet from all over the world. KPU has exchange partnerships with schools all over the world including: Australia, Brazil, China, England, and many more.

International Internships
Why not become an intern in Germany or Cuba? Here’s an opportunity to travel, gain work experience, and maybe earn a little bit of extra income while you’re at it. An international internship also gives you the benefit of learning the native language in-class, growing your professional network overseas, and boosting your employability.
