Learning about post-secondary education and putting together your application can be confusing. Here are some tips to help make the process a little easier.

Discover what you want. Learn about KPU’s 120+ programs and their admission requirements on the university calendar. KPU offers both open intake and limited intake programs. Open intake programs don’t have a limit to the number of applicants that are admitted in an application cycle; limited intake programs do.

Know your deadlines. Find out when applications open and close so you don’t miss deadlines. Keep in mind that applications for our limited intake programs close earlier than open intake ones. Planning to apply for scholarships? It has a separate deadline from our program applications - check our Student Awards and Financial Assistance website for more information.

Submit your documents. After you apply online, the most common document you’ll submit is your official high school transcript. If you’ve taken courses at another public post-secondary institution before, you’ll need to submit their official transcripts too. Some limited intake programs may require additional documents for admission (like a portfolio or reference letter). Keep an eye out for those on the university calendar!
