Scholarship Opportunities At Grenfell Campus
Scholarships prove essential to help finance your education!
For many students at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland, scholarships prove essential to help finance their education.
Grenfell’s outstanding students are recognized through the delivery of over $2 million in scholarship funds to new and returning students each year. Memorial University, Atlantic Canada’s largest comprehensive university, awards over $75,000 in entrance scholarships alone.
At Grenfell Campus, you are eligible to take advantage of scholarships specific to Grenfell, as well as those available to all Memorial University students. Applications are not necessary for most Memorial scholarships; they are awarded automatically based on academics and recommendations from faculty.
Preparation for a scholarship application starts early. Talk to your guidance counselor about what scholarship opportunities exist. To increase your chances, get involved with activities outside of the classroom. Many scholarships look beyond academics, and are awarded to students who are well-rounded. Be sure to document all your volunteer activities, extra-curricular efforts and employment positions.
Make every effort to read all scholarship information and application guidelines carefully, noting deadlines. When the application is made, be careful to submit an application that is free of errors.
