Did you know that UK institutions offer students a Taught Master’s degree in just ONE year? The duration is September to September, with classes being taught in the fall and spring, followed by exams in May, after which the thesis is written up and submitted in September! This allows students to save both time and money and be out in the job market one year earlier…

Students can make direct application to their preferred institution, free of charge, and most have an International Section which will guide students through the process.

Scholarships are available and many institutions require students to accept their offer of a place to become eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Many UK institutions accept Canadian Financial Aid e.g. OSAP

Accommodation costs are more affordable outside of London, sometimes by 50%, so be sure to research which institutions offer your preferred programme of study, then compare accommodation costs.

International students are required to make application for a Tier 4 visa. Whilst this allows students to work 20 hours per week, the intense nature of the programme advises against this, plus part time jobs in the UK are not readily available.

International students who remain in the UK for a period of six months or longer, are able to access the NHS (National Health Service) for medical care.
