Getting ready to apply for jobs? Whether you’re looking for employment while in school, over the summer or taking that first step into your career, there are things you can do to successfully land your perfect job.

When applying for a job, the first step is to write a resume that will standout from the rest. One piece of advice: the best resumes are tailored for specific jobs they aren’t generic or gimmicky. You should revisit your resume for every job you apply — it seems like a lot of work, but it’s a sure way of getting your resume noticed.
