You’ve probably heard the phrase “you need more experience” - the big problem facing students nowadays when they graduate from school.

For some of us, the only experience we bring to the table other than our degree is the summer job taken to make some extra spending money. And waiting in bars or babysitting isn’t quite the experience our future employers are thinking of.

But for those lucky few, we leave school with two to three career-related professional experiences.

At Les Roches, doing a professional internship is built in to our curriculum. It is an amazing opportunity for all students to not only gain work experience, but to also learn how life is in the real world.

Finding an internship is a very daunting experience. However, this process is made easy for Les Roches students by our wonderful Career Development Industry Placement team with its close industry partnerships.

  • From day one at Les Roches, they help you work on your CV to make yourself the best-looking candidate out there.
  • Once your CV is finished you begin your search - you pick a location you would like to work in, and you look for a hotel or company that is a good fit.
  • All students at Les Roches find their first internship within the first six months at the school.

An internship search can be a long Journey but the reward at the end is truly remarkable.

Thanks to our Career Development Industry Placement team, all students from Les Roches enter the world after graduation one step ahead of the curve.
