Would you like to know exactly what you’re going to do once you’re finished with your degree? University is the time to explore your dreams and passions: study new disciplines and becoming familiar with new types of careers.

Tyndale is a university where you will gain work experience in your field. There are many opportunities in the different fields from psychology, business, international development, social work, early childhood development and more.

Each year, student majoring in International Development intern with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) both abroad and at their local headquarters. Students spend months working in the field work and learning the language and culture.

Students have gained valuable work experience as accountants in Nicaragua, website developers in Brazil, and more. Victoria Edwards traveled to Uganda to work in improving the health of mothers and babies. While Sarah Rennick interned in Moldova where she worked to prevent human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Psychology majors frequently intern in clinics run by their professors. Each summer, Tyndale students run an Autism Day Camp where they gain experience in autism as well as the skills to run a day camp. Social work and early childhood development majors spend a full semester working in their field giving them great references and opportunities for future jobs.

There is also a career counselling service available. Meet one on one with an expert career counsellor who will help you explore and find the best career to fit your passions and dreams.
