Going to school is an investment in your future. Unfortunately, that investment can also include a hefty price tag. Post-secondary education shouldn’t be a debt sentence. Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) offers almost $2 million in scholarships, awards, and bursaries to help you finance your future. Here’s what you need to know:

Check out the awards guide – kpu.ca/awards
A wide range of awards and scholarships are available for all students. Don’t miss out on something because you didn’t know about it. The awards guide is a comprehensive list of the awards available to students at KPU including the award type, deadlines, eligibility criteria, and the award amount. Check the awards guide regularly to see what you qualify for. If you’re a new student starting at KPU for the first time, you may be eligible for an entrance scholarship worth up to $20,000. The university has a total of more than $250,000 in awards reserved for students enrolling for the first time!

Have a plan and stay organized
Different awards require different supporting documents like application forms, transcripts, essays, and reference letters. Stay organized, back up your files, and keep track of deadlines to ensure everything gets done on time.

Check out all options – kpu.ca/co-op
KPU offers co-operative education options in several programs in arts, business, and science and horticulture. Students in co-op programs alternate periods of on-campus study with paid work experience. Co-op is a great opportunity for you to earn an income, while also learning on-the-job skills, and expanding your professional networks.
