    The GradSteps workshops series is designed to help graduate students navigate their programs and transfer their skills and knowledge into the workplace, whether this be in a traditional academic setting, or a for-profit or not-for-profit organization.

    One of our many student groups is known across campus as the “Big Horns”. This student group meets at The Hub (campus bar) every Friday game day — no matter the Bison team playing that night — one hour before the game,using their enthusiasm to help engage fans. Anyone who wants to be a member must wear horns and attend three games.
  3. Recreation Services
    On campus to inspire and facilitate students and community members to embrace active healthy lifestyles, Recreation Services offers 350,000 square feet of buildings and spaces dedicated to fitness, sport and recreation. We have all that you need to help you reach your fitness, health and recreational goals.
  4. Thousands of Courses to Choose From
    The U of M is the region’s largest research-intensive and only medical doctoral university offering more than 100 academic programs. Choose from thousands of courses within the 47 doctoral, 90 master's, and one diploma program.
  5. Energetic City Life
    With a population of 780,000, Winnipeg is known for its diversity, along with its vibrant arts and culture scene, and friendly people. Our Fort Garry campus is alive day and night as thousands of football fans and concert-goers fill the world-class Investors Group Field.
