Brescia University College is a welcoming community that helps students reach their full potential by promoting leadership, collaboration, social awareness, academic excellence, and countless other initiatives that allow students to thrive. All students are welcomed into Brescia’s tight-knit community with open arms; however, for those that would like help becoming more involved on campus, the Student Life Centre supplies a large array of opportunities to do so. The programs offered provide students a basis to hone their organizational, leadership, communication, and employability skills during their stay at Brescia. The Student Life Center provides resources in career development, orientation, leadership involvement, experiential education, learning enhancement, and mental health and wellness.

Brescia is proud to be “a student-centred community that educates women to think critically and to participate actively in society.” Due to a focus on both academic and personal excellence, Brescia is able to deliver a transformative experience for students, thereby allowing them to become successful, motivated, and well-rounded members of their communities.

For those looking to lead, there are various opportunities to do so, such as by joining the students’ council, promoting a sense of community by becoming a residence assistant, or volunteering in the London community. Women empowerment is vital, and by allowing students to both lead and be led, Brescia successfully fosters a community of confident and motivated leaders.

The Student Life Centre is located in the St. James Building, Room 119. For additional information, contact the Manager of Student Engagement, Courtney McDonald by email, or phone at (519) 432-8353 ext. 28011.
