Cardiff Metropolitan is a top modern University in the UK situated in the Wales’ vibrant capital city, located in the south of Wales with over 140 countries represented within is 16,000 students. The University offers study exchange and the opportunity for international students to transfer degree credits to all courses within our 5 academic schools: Art and Design, Education, Health Sciences, Management and Sport.

Cardiff Met celebrates 150 years in 2015, yet our modern approach to career focused courses, offering all students the chance to gain credits for organized work experience placements in Year 2 of their studies. Such focus on serving the needs of our community with graduates able to walk straight into the work place ensures that Cardiff Met is one of the UK’s very successful Universities for graduate employability. We can boost that in 2013, 94% of our graduates were in employment or further study within 6 months of leaving us! (DHLE survey 2013).

We have many overseas partnerships, with students studying our courses in Egypt, Morocco, Sri Lanka and Singapore and an extensive network of international exchanges through the Erasmus Mundus and Santander scholarship schemes – all of which are available for our International students to experience whilst studying with us.

We offer a straight forward scholarship which is assessed on application and can provide Undergraduates with up to £3600 during their 3 years of study. We also accept OSAP and many of the Canadian scholarships that are available. With a dedicated Marketing officer at your fingers tips, guiding you through the application process and beyond enrolment, you can be assured that Cardiff Met will support you and your family throughout your studies.

The adventure of studying in such a historical country, host to many of the BBC dramas and stars such as Dr Who, Torchwood and Sherlock, begins the moment you arrive in our great capital. Cardiff has excellent transport links with London and other major cities just over two hours away by car or train. You can be by the sea within a short walk or up in the Brecon Beacons Mountain range in under an hour from the city.
