It doesn’t matter if it’s your first semester or your last; going to university can be overwhelming. So, how do you get involved in campus life and still stay on top of your studies?

Meet with an adviser - kpu.ca/library
Visit the library and become familiar with searchable online databases early in your studies. Learn how to research a topic and site your sources—before it’s crunch time. Each KPU campus has its own library where you are able to access a variety of print and online materials. Libraries have computers for student use, audio visual equipment available that you can borrow, and study rooms that can be reserved.

Read the university paper
Most post-secondary schools have a student newspaper that may be printed weekly, monthly, or updated more frequently online. The Runner, KPU’s student newspaper, is published on a weekly basis and covers local events both on campus, and out in the community. Get involved in student journalism and campus life as a contributor, photographer, staff writer, or editor.

Follow your school on social media - @KwantlenU
