We’re based in the middle of the UK, making it easy to travel around and see the rest of the country, and with easy access to international airports, getting home won’t be a hassle.

Recently our impressive rise up the league tables has continued and we have broken into the top 30 of UK universities in the Guardian university league table 2015, rising six places to 27th overall and ranking ahead of nine Russell Group institutions. You can find out more about the break down of ratings here.

That’s not all, our students are some of the most satisfied in the UK! They’ve voted us in the UK’s top 10 in the National Student Survey 2014. The independent survey gave final year students across the country the opportunity to rate their satisfaction with their university experience, including the quality of teaching and how well they’ve been supported throughout their studies.

We ranked seventh overall, with 91% of students satisfied with their course – making us the highest-placed modern university in the country. We have been voted joint top – alongside Oxford and Cambridge – for teaching, and first for academic support, with 89% of students saying they’re happy with the advice, support and availability of tutors. You can see the full results here.
