  2. How ‘social’ are your school choices? Checkout their presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. This provides some great background info!
  3. E-Text? Has your program gone digital? Before buying books, be sure to check the program requirements/options. Save money and your back.

  5. Looking for something to eat on the go? Go to the schools’ websites and see what their restaurants/cafes have to offer. And, if there is a culinary arts program, be sure to check out their restaurant and retail store! Those chefs are always cooking up something tasty.
  6. Most schools have on-campus lockers so there’s no need to lug your course gear around campus. Plus, it’s a great place to store umbrellas and jackets!
  7. Do you have a car and need a parking permit? Sometimes they go on a first come, first served basis. Make sure you buy yours right away.
  8. Is there an on-campus print shop that can give you a hand when a deadline is looming? Maybe they have 3D printer! Get to know them early and see how they can help your presentations look their best.
  9. Check out the Fitness Zone in your school! It’s a great place to burn off some extra energy and kill some time between classes.
  10. And last but not least, have fun and make a friend!
