Education is Never a ‘Plan B’ with Laurentian

The moment you start reading this article, you and I will have something in common - Laurentian University.

When I applied for post-secondary education, Laurentian was on my list of institutions I’d like to attend, but wasn’t categorized as a ‘Plan A.’ I simply had a plan to attend post-secondary education for the benefit it would have on my life. If your plan for post-secondary education doesn’t come to fruition on the first run-through, it’s time to look at how you can re-evaluate your educational goals through unheard of universities. The information you need is obtained by contacting schools and representatives to see what opportunities await you at the universities that you may not have originally considered.

Do not be discouraged if your plans have to change. I suggest you embrace the opportunity and explore all available options with curiosity and a hungry mind. The most difficult step in the process of changing your plans is often having the courage to contact someone. Whether you are graduating high school, looking for an undergraduate program, wanting to conduct research for your graduate studies, or an adult/mature applicant attending for the first time, reading this article is your first step.
