Graduating from university and landing your dream job may sound like an intimidating prospect. There are so many different job opportunities, and it can be hard to determine which one is the right fit for you, not to mention knowing the appropriate steps needed to get there. But it is OK if you don’t have all the answers yet. One of the purposes of University is to establish a sense of self and discover what career would be best suited to you. That is the first step, and at Brescia University College, we will help you throughout the rest of your journey and provide the tools and guidance needed to become a successful leader, with a successful occupation.

With Brescia’s brand new Career Development Certificate Program, choosing and attaining a career is made more achievable. The program provides an interactive and practical series of group sessions created to teach you about career development and career-decision making. The program will also provide invaluable skills such as: writing engaging resumes and cover letters; implementing successful job search strategies; and interviewing with impact.

You are also encouraged to attend any of the Career Development Certificate workshops offered here at Brescia, based on your own schedule, and specific area of interest. Whether you decide to go on to graduate school, teachers college, law school, or start directly in the workforce after graduation, Brescia will help guide you along your chosen path, one step at a time.
