Life at Seneca doesn’t begin and end in the classroom. There are many ways to get involved, ensuring you get the most out of your college experience. The Seneca Student Federation (SSF), along with Athletics, provides a variety of opportunities to be involved in the wider college community.

If you are energetic and looking to become actively involved in your college, why not consider running for a leadership position in the SSF? Here, you’ll be able to plan and promote events, participate in multi-cultural programming as well as learn and practice advocacy skills to support your fellow students. Alternatively, you may consider joining a club or association to meet like-minded individuals, or maybe even start your own club. Whatever it is, the SSF is here to help you succeed and to make the most of your college experience. Drop by your local SSF office for information on how to get involved with council, clubs/associations; professional development opportunities; part-time on-campus jobs; and much more!

You may also want to consider the Student Ambassador program, where you can work during your breaks and get paid. Best of all, you have the opportunity to gain real work experience to enhance your resume. For more details on how you can become a student ambassador, visit the Student Services office at your campus.

Varsity sports and campus recreation programs are a great way to fit in time to optimize your physical health. Our community programs engage not only our students, but also staff, faculty, and community members. Visit the Athletics and Recreation office at your campus to find out more.

With so many options, it’s easy to get involved, get engaged, and explore student life at Seneca. For more information, visit us online at www.senecacollege.ca/student/student-life.
