At Brescia University College, students are encouraged to meet their full potential through leadership. The career development, leadership involvement, health and wellness, learning engagement, and experiential education.

Part of Brescia’s mission is “to create transformative opportunities that support the holistic development and leadership capacity of every Brescia student.” By collaborating with students, faculty, staff, alumnae, colleagues from Western University, and diverse community partners, Brescia inspires student learning and positive action.

With a focus on leadership, Brescia empowers students to succeed while studying at Brescia, and beyond graduation. Mentorship programs are available for third-year and fourth-year students who are matched with an appropriate mentor, based on their career goals and application. The pairs work together for four to six hours a month in order to build a relationship and learn and impart knowledge. These programs are offered to assist students in finding their talents, and adapting the tools and strategies they need to succeed in the career field. Mentors may be any female from the London community, or a Brescia alumna, who is able to commit the time between the months of October and April. Benefits of this program include enhancing student leadership skills, community involvement, networking with new contacts, and creating a memorable experience that will assist students in the future. Mentorship applications can be accessed through visiting the Opportunities page.

The Student Life Centre is located in the St. James Building, at Brescia with weekly office hours. For more information, visit the website, or contact the Manager of Student Engagement, Courtney McDonald, by email or phone 519 432 8353 ext. 28011.
