What is the Nipissing student experience? It is getting back to nature with the Biology Society, exploring the waterfall and 20 kilometers of forest trails located right on-campus, as well as the two beautiful lakes in the North Bay area. It is NUReads, a club founded by education students teaching reading skills to local children. It is letting your inner geek out at the Pokémon Fan Club. At Nipissing University, you can shape your own experience: find ten friends who share your interest and start your own club with funds from Nipissing University’s Student Union (NUSU).

Finding those friends on our close-knit campus is easy. Whether its professors, classmates, roommates, or teammates, get ready to say hi to those you know and discover new friends every day. Nipissing shares campus space with its partner school, Canadore College, offering joint diploma/degree programs and events open to both college and university students. Frosh week is twice as fun when both schools join forces for games such as the Amazing Race, while the competitions during the year, like the annual pond hockey tournament, nurture a friendly rivalry.
