Students’ Union

As a University of South Wales student, you will automatically become a member of the Students’ Union which is run for students by students. With Union facilities on every campus, you can benefit from welfare and education support, representation, clubs and societies, entertainment, food and drink, fundraising and volunteering so there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved!

Student Ambassadors

Our USW student ambassadors blog, Tweet and Facebook about their life at the University. Take a look at what our USWInsight Ambassadors have to say!

Clubs and Societies

Clubs and societies are an important part of university life and a great way to meet new people. Not only do you get the chance to make friends with like-minded people, you also get the chance to try something new or do something you already enjoy.

Whatever your passion, from debating and creative writing, to football, waterpolo and snowsports, there’s a club or society for you! We even have an International Student Society! If we don’t have a society that suits your interests, you can start one. There are some rules and regulations that apply, but your club or society could be up and running in no time!

Most societies have weekly meetings and organise social events such as meals, cultural events, market days, nights out and much more. More information about all of the Union's services can be found at www.uswsu.com
