Celebrate New Year’s in Paris, tour the sites of Rome, bike in Cambodia and Malaysia, and much more! The University of New Brunswick offers over 80 exchange/study programs in 32 countries.

Study abroad programs allow you to earn credits toward your UNB degree while enjoying new cultures and experiences. Travel opportunities are available to students from almost any program at UNB.

Travel boosts employability

Employers know that students who have lived abroad have developed cross-cultural communication skills, resilience, knowledge, and have the ability to adapt to new circumstances.

Science student, Miles Goff, spent a semester at Hong Kong Polytechnic University:

“The year I spent in Hong Kong on UNB’s exchange program proved for me to be a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience a different part of the world.

The program was flexible enough to mold in any way I wanted, with a focus on academics, travelling, or both. I struck a balance between getting out and absorbing Chinese culture and keeping my grades up; a moderation which allowed me to reflect and gain a broader understanding of both.”

Arts student, Kate Hooper, spent a term at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Spain:
