Mount Allison University’s admissions process is unique. It looks beyond academics, taking into account your accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom.

While a strong academic record is the first indication of potential to succeed at the university level, we also recognize students who have a well-balanced record of academic and extracurricular activities. Our admissions decisions are based on your academic record, leadership skills, a high level of commitment, and the potential for personal growth. We encourage you to show us evidence of your extracurricular involvement, volunteer activities in school and in the community, and work experience. Tell us as much about yourself as you like.

Admission requirements differ depending on the program you wish to pursue. A drop down menu at mta.ca/requirements will help you find information on what pre-requisites are recommended for the program of your choice.

Not quite sure what area you want to study? Explore all of your interests! A Mount Allison degree can be as unique as you are. You can choose from over 40 majors and minors to create a personalized program of study that matches your interests and career goals.
