Choosing a college or university is a big decision – and sometimes that choice is made harder because you’re not quite sure what you want to do. Business or cooking? Theatre or engineering? Music or media?

Maybe you’re not sure what type of credential to go after. Is a diploma enough? Do you need a degree? What about an apprenticeship?

For example, let’s say you enrol in Humber’s Business Administration program, which is a three-year college diploma. At the end of your three years, you’ve discovered that you adore business, and really want a degree. Easy – if you meet the academic criteria, you can transfer into one of our Bachelor of Commerce programs and get advanced standing. Lots of our diplomas can lead into degree studies. Or maybe you like art, and enrol in our Design Foundation certificate. After a year, you’ll have developed the skills to apply for other design programs – a diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design, for example, or a degree in Interior or Industrial Design.
