The Aesthetic Industry has made leaps and bounds since my entry in 2001. Education standards have been raised and educators in the growing industries expectations have had to grow with it. Many are going back to school, upgrading their skills, taking a new turn in providing quality to the future Aesthetic Professional.

In the spa Industry we focus on all aspects of how people look, act, and most often how they feel. As consumers you are interested in the results driven treatment from the Skin Care Therapist who cares for you. Do they really know what they are doing? Where did they go to school? How much experience do they have? All of these questions run through your mind when you are going through your first Aesthetic experience.

The Spa industry attracts Skin Therapists from all aspects of life and various experiences. As women in the industry, learning to deal with people in all areas of their life becomes their job. We are in a people pleasing industry and the aim to please comes at a cost. Consumers want results! We provide these results. Where does the challenge begin? What questions do you ask?
