It’s that time again – back to school. For some, it means getting back into routine; however, for those who are starting university for the first time, it’s a whole new and exciting world. At Brescia University College, Canada’s only women’s University, you can be assured that any feelings of uncertainty in those first few days will soon be replaced with excitement a new place to call home.

Orientation week – also known as “O Week” – is designed to help first year students feel situated and comfortable. Your first week will keep you busy with events such as Foundress Day, Brescia’s Residence Opening Ceremony, the Community Market Place, Student Toolkit Workshops, The Brescia Amazing Race, Faculty Talks and mock lectures, and so much more. Orientation week is a stepping stone to help get your feet planted firmly on the campus, and from there, begins your Brescia BOLD experience.

Your first class at Brescia will bring with it a smaller class setting where faculty will soon know your name and even get to know a little bit more about your area of study. You will also have the best of both worlds by being able to take classes and visit Western’s campus just down the hill. The resources and support available to you at Brescia are endless and, if you’re living in our new state-of-the-art residence, you will be just seconds from your classrooms and the beautiful Beryl Ivey Library.

Brescia’s campus is a unique landscape that combines signature buildings like Ursuline Hall, which was built in 1925, with the new residence, which will welcome its first group of students in September.

Brescia is nothing less than BOLD and your path to success begins with your first days on campus.
