Flemming CollegeFleming College is ensuring students have the experience and readiness to start a career as soon as they graduate.

All of Fleming’s 100 full-time programs strive to offer hands-on, practical experience for students. This could be in the form of an applied project (working with a real world client), a co-operative semester, a work placement, community volunteerism, an internship or a field camp.

And students can often complete these experiences anywhere in the world. Recently, Fleming students have done work placements and field camps in Jamaica, Australia, Costa Rica and South Africa. These international trips offer an unprecedented experience for students, giving them a definite edge when they graduate and venture into the working world.

Other students choose to stay closer to home to complete their placements and co-ops. This is a great opportunity for students to make connections, network, and have a greater impact on their local communities.

A few of Fleming College’s unique placement and co-operative opportunities are in programs not offered elsewhere such as Sporting Goods Business, Urban Forestry Technician, and Earth Resources. The Cultural Heritage Conservation and Management and Recreation and Leisure Services programs offer four-month, full-semester placements and internships.

And employers are pleased with the work of Fleming College grads – more than 92% of employers are satisfied with their Fleming hire.

Students who want the knowledge, theory and hands-on skills to prepare them for a career should explore all that Fleming College has to offer. We will get you career-ready!
