Durham CollegeDon’t know where to start looking for work? Worried about not having enough experience to get an interview in your field? Still using that same resumé from grade ten Careers class? Career Services at Durham College, and similar centres on many campuses across Canada, can help! Whether it’s in a one-to-one session or a seminar in your classroom, our Career Advisors have the skills and knowledge to help you succeed now and in the future. Career Services is also your first stop to connect with employers on campus through Job Fairs, Employer Recruitment Booths and Information Sessions.

“I wanted to thank you for all of your help while listening to me try to figure out my future. I know I still have a lot of decisions to make but I have come a long way since I first came to see you.”
- Social Service Worker student.

In a recent survey, 70% of students stated that they chose their program because of the employment prospects it offered and 62% stated that they were planning on seeking employment after graduation. However, only 38% of students were aware of Career Services. Career service centres exist to help students discover what their options are so that they can pursue their goals and GET HIRED!

Many students wait until the last week of their final year before contacting Career Services. Why wait? Contact your campus career services centre and GET HIRED!
