Stenberg CollegeHaving an ‘A’ average doesn’t make a person more deserving of financial support and nowhere is that more apparent than at Stenberg College.

Stenberg College offers several scholarships/bursaries that consider factors beyond academics: community service and volunteerism; leadership and responsibility; a positive, caring & proactive attitude; campus spirit, and more...All graduating students are eligible to be nominated for the Student of the Year Award, an annual award which celebrates student success across all programs with one full tuition reimbursement of up to $20,000.00 awarded and several runner-up awards also provided.

A full tuition Scholarship valued at $13,848 is awarded to a graduating student in each cohort of our Community Mental Health & Addictions Worker Diploma program. Nominations for the scholarship are received from instructors, fellow students and industry partners that mentor and work with our students over 46 weeks through weekly field experience and practicum placements.

Several bursaries and scholarships are currently offered in partnership with industry. In partnership with PHS Community Services Society, the Lookout Emergency Aid Society and Keys: Housing & Health Solutions, a full tuition scholarship is awarded at the start of every Community Mental Health & Addictions Worker program in both Vancouver and Surrey to a candidate of their choice. In partnership with Catholic Independent schools in the Lower Mainland, $500 and $1000 bursaries are being offered to students in our Special Education Assistant Online-based program who are interested in working in Catholic schools. A $1000 bursary is being offered to all hospital and healthcare employees (public and private) in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island who enroll in Stenberg College’s 60 week Cardiology Technologist online-based program starting in April, 2013.Three $1000 bursaries are also available for the Community Support Worker program starting in April, 2013 to three lucky attendees to the upcoming information session at Semiahmoo House Society on Feb. 27, 2013.

The best way to learn about bursary, scholarship and other financial aid options is to attend an information session. Contact the campus today to arrange an appointment with one of our advisors.
