Rhodes Wellness CollegeGetting an education can be an expensive endeavor. Fortunately, there are options out there to help pay for your education. Here are some to consider:

Student loans and lines of credit: Government student loans and grants are a form of financial assistance provided by the Federal and Provincial Government. You can also apply to various banks for student lines of credit. Both of these loans must be paid back. For more information, visit CanLearn.ca or your financial institution’s website.

Savings: A Registered Education Savings plan is a special account set up and registered with the Federal Government where you, your parents or others can put aside money for your education. You are not taxed on these funds so it’s the best way to save for your education.

A Part-time Job: The Government of Canada offers a number of grants and initiatives to help post-secondary students gain work experience part time, while financially supporting themselves during their studies. Some post-secondary institutions have work/study placements available for their students. Talk to the admissions representative.

College Scholarships and Bursaries: Scholarships and bursaries are types of financial assistance you don’t have to pay back. Check around your community or with your College to find out if you may be eligible for any scholarship opportunities. At Rhodes Wellness College, we have three scholarships available - Click here to check them out!
