Student life for graduate students at the University of Lethbridge is unique, much like the setting for the University itself. Propped on the edge of the coulee, the University of Lethbridge has unrivalled access to leading edge researchers and equipment at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Student life at the University of Lethbridge is characterized by a personalized student experience within a supportive community. Probably the most rewarding experience I had from my undergraduate education was being able to volunteer while also receiving course credit. Through these applied studies I gained a permanent paid position at the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta and Lethbridge Family Services – Immigrant Services and gained invaluable experience.

Student life at the University of Lethbridge also benefits from direct access to world-renowned faculty members and the possibility to work on interesting research projects.I stayed at the University of Lethbridge for my graduate education because of the foreseeable opportunities available.The University of Lethbridge truly is a community of scholars and graduate students are welcomed openly into this environment.

With approximately 500 graduate students at the University of Lethbridge, interaction with students of other disciplines is customary. This results in a culture of camaraderie and respect among graduate students and defines graduate student life at the University of Lethbridge.
