Vancouver Community CollegeVancouver Community College works hard to ensure life on campus is just like life in the real world. In fact, our little world at VCC is just a microcosm of the big one: a place that is diverse and full of opportunity.

Our goal is to create a positive learning experience for all students. We support students from the time they inquire about a program to the time they graduate. Students have access to advisers, financial aid and counselors, and gain membership and support from the Students’ Union of Vancouver Community College.

Student life is made even better at VCC thanks to on-campus services offered by many programs. Take a break between classes at a restaurant run by culinary arts students; grab a treat at the bakery, made fresh by baking students; or get pampered by hair design and esthetics students at the campus salon and spa. Students can even get a car fixed by transportation trades students in the auto shop. Now those are perks!

VCC also aims to make college life easier for those who face hurdles. We offer accessible programs for ESL students, hearing or visually impaired learners, and students with cognitive disabilities.VCC also offers academic and personal support to Aboriginal learners.

Look around our two campuses and you’ll see students of all ages, ethnicities and abilities, working together and learning from one another’s experiences. Our community is a true reflection of Vancouver’s character, as one of the most culturally-diverse cities on earth. Having exposure to a variety of cultures and ideas is a big part of succeeding in our world and the real one.
