De Montfort University (DMU) in Leicester benefits from a central location in the UK and offers a bustling, multicultural student life. DMU is only minutes from the city centre, which has received hundreds of millions of pounds invested over the last 5 years.

In 2012, we saw the Queen visit the campus to kick-start her Jubilee tour of the UK, the Vice Chancellor performed as part of a Bonnie-Tyler themed flash mob to raise money for a local charity, and campus investment has included a multi-million pound leisure centre which will be officially opened by HRH Prince Edward.

De Montfort’s Student Union (DSU) is based in the Campus Centre, the social hub of the campus. The DSU is a place for our students to relax, find friends through our 80 clubs and societies, get involved in volunteering opportunities, and make use of the support and guidance that we offer our students, whether its housing, money, welfare or legal advice.
