At the University of New Brunswick, we made it simple and created an online Admission Requirements tool. It’s easy to use, fast, and it only gives you the information you need. All you need to do is answer a few questions and we’ll present you everything you need to know in a straightforward manner.

Don’t take our word for it, check it out for yourself!
If you’re still having trouble though, don’t worry. We always have an entire client service team (yes, real people answer our phones) here to answer any questions you may have. Our number is 1-888-895-3344 and our email address is chooseunb@unb.ca.

In general:

Every university requires that you complete your Grade 12 English with a minimum grade percentage. You are also required to complete five Grade 12 courses (which courses will depend on what program you’re applying to) and have the average of those courses and the Grade 12 English course meet a minimum average. The number of courses and averages may differ slightly from school to school, but this is basically how it works.

Then you can figure out what courses and averages you need to get in. Just visit the school website and look for “Admissions” or “Admission requirements”. Sometimes, you may have to go to the “Future Students” section of the website to find them.
