St. Thomas UniversityWhen we ask students what brought them to STU, and what keeps them here, there are things that always make the top of the list: small size, close-knit community, beautiful campus, one-on-one time with professors, liberal arts reputation, and the City of Fredericton.

Every university is different, and every student has different needs. Be sure to look for things that are important to YOU. Things to consider are academic programs, the city or town, extra-curricular offerings, campus atmosphere.
Size of the university is another determining factor – If you’re looking for a small, close-knit, supportive campus where your professors will know your name, let us know, because we’ve got it here at STU.

Lastly, come for a tour. Seeing is believing!

Applying
Once you know you’re interested, look over application information early to get an idea of what you need to pull together, and when (deadlines have a tendency of sneaking up). Talk to our Admission Office about Open House, School Visits, On-Site Admissions, and other opportunities to connect with the university.

Requirements
Admission requirements for our Bachelor of Arts programme are listed online at www.stu.ca/admissions.

Talk to our Admissions Counsellors to make sure you’re on the right track. We recommend applying before March 31, but students wishing to be considered for Major Scholarships must apply by March 1st.
