So you have an idea of what you want to do with your life and have picked out a program that will help you get there. Great! Now you just need to apply to your chosen school and get accepted to begin what will hopefully be a start to a long and fruitful career. Only the question of how to apply remains.

The next step is to pull together any additional material that might be required along with your application and transcript. This could include an application essay, interview, portfolio or test. It’s best to brainstorm and write down all of your jobs, volunteer experience and accomplishments. Then, draw from each of these elements that relate to the program and career you seek to enter.
